He is survived by: his spouse Lyubov Shostak; and his children, Miroslava Aprelkov, Svetlana Levitsky, Lyudmila Torchilo, Oksana Maksimenko, Yaroslav Shostak, Aleksandr Shostak, Orest Shostak and Nazar Shostak. He is also survived by six sisters; two brothers; and 10 grandchildren.
