He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, David Daugherty and Flora Bell Day Daugherty; and his siblings, Floy Embrey, Myrtle Lee Kilpatrick, Robert and Carmen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vivian Edwards (Shawn) and Diane Smith (Shane); and his grandchildren, Cameron Edwards (Sierra) and Katelyn Edwards Bowman (Forrest). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clark Legacy Center - Nicholasville (601 E Brannon Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
