He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Davis and Cotha Davis; his brothers, James and Billy Joe Davis, Sr.; his son Bobby Gene Davis, Jr.; and his nieces, Lisa Davis and Angie Reynolds.
He is survived by: his brother Johnnie Davis; his nephews, Jim Davis (Jamie), Joey Davis (Angie) and Johnny Davis (Maggie Farris); and his niece Sue Chapman (Tony Harvey).
