The memory of Clifford D. Smith (Nicholasville, Kentucky), who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Clifford had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Clifford may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Smith; his sons, Duane Smith (Katie) and Eric Smith (Kathryn); his grandson Owain Smith; and his sister Jacqueline Laborda. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Clays Mill Baptist Church (1220 Brannon Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In addition to flowers, donations can be made to the Clays Mill Baptist Church Building Fund.
