He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Gettler Sr. and Florence Cooper Gettler. He is survived by: his wife Vickie McElfresh Gettler; his sons, Brian Gettler (Terri) of Lebanon, TN, Greg Gettler (Angela) of Taylorsville, NC and Michael Gettler of Greensboro, NC.; his grandchildren, Bryce, Cooper, Micah, Joel, Adeline and Ellie Joy; and his brother Frank Gettler (Jane) of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
