It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Alan Palmer (Nicholasville, Kentucky), who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Palmer and Ruby Palmer; and his brother Julian Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Donna Louise Rinks; his children, Michael (Rebecca) and Jenny Kelly (David); his grandchildren, Mikaela Palmer, Jacob and Justin Kelly; and his stepgrandsons, Jackson and Jonathan Jones. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North View Baptist Church (1742 Bryan Station Rd, Lexington, KY 40505). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
