He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Clark and William Grant; his son Shawn Thomas Grant; and his siblings, Lucy Dozier, Mary Grant, Pricella Pembleton and William Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Warner Grant; his grandchildren, Austin Grant (Heather) and Cassie Holland; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Hayes.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clark Legacy Center - Nicholasville (601 E Brannon Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
