We announce the death of Gerald David Ammons of Nicholasville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 72. Gerald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ammons and Marian Ammons; and his brother Jack "Rick" Ammons. He is survived by: his wife Joellen Ammons; his children, Andrew (Tara), Mark (Tori), Joey (Rachel), Jessie and Kim (William); his grandchildren, Lily, Sam, Eva and Simon; and his sister Julie Seanor.
