He was predeceased by : his parents, Elise Mae Adams and James Horace Current; and his brothers, Glenn Harrison Current and Roy Current. He is survived by : his girlfriend Lori Laemmerman; his children, Brandon Scott Current, Aaron Michael Current (Mallory) and Codee Breanna Dayton Current; and his brothers, Harold "Pete" Current and CJ Current. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
