We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2025, at the age of 74, Jimmy Reid Hay of Nicholasville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hay and Kate Hay; and his sister Cheryl Sue Hay. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Hay; his brother Tommy; his sisters-in-law, Sue Hay of Monticello and Frances Meece of Nicholasville; his sibling's children, Jeff (Kalisa Hay), Thomas Hay, Eddie (Crystal Meece) and Misti Meece (Dallas Blythe); his great-nephews, Jacob Hay (Austan Smith), Matthew (Harley Mills), Joshua Plowman (Hannah Meadows) and Lee Blythe; his great-niece Marissa Meece (Justin DeLancey); Rose, Charlotte Plowman, Annalee, Arley and Avery Mills.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks guests to make donations to The American Heart Association and Gideons International.
