He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean; and his stepson Marlon Austin. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Cathy Austin-Frey; his son-in-law Jeffrey Frey; his granddaughter Jessica Frey; his grandson-in-law Max Eddy; his great grandchild Margot; and his sisters, Janice Sallee, Sudie Darragh and Barbara Leach.
