He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Patrick Canty and Doris Smith Canty; and his brother David Sean Canty. He is survived by: his daughter Shawn Hicks (Chris); his siblings, Michael Canty and Mary Hall (Bill); his nieces, Elizabeth Cox (John), Victoria Hall and Alexandra Hall; and his friend Shelly Young (Jack).
In spirit of the kindness and generosity he exhibited to others throughout his life, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, you offer acts of kindness to those in need as a way to carry on Paul's memory.
