She was predeceased by : her parents, William George Justice and Laura Belle Holloway Justice; her husband David Slone; her daughter Phyllis Ann Hite; and her brother James "Junior" Justice.

She is survived by : her children, David James Slone (Yvonne) of Powell's Creek, Mildred Sue Hite (Cecil) of Johns Creek and Emma Lou Tackett (Jimmy) of Nicholasville; her son-in-law Southie Hite of Pikeville, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Melissa Ann Newsome (Nathan), Tim Hite (Tiffany), David Tackett, Samantha Slone (Shawn Miller), Jamie Slone and Anthony Hite; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlin Slone, Jonathan Carroll, Trent Hite and Trevor Hite.
