It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonna Jean Johnson Bartley of Nicholasville, Kentucky, born in Shelbiana, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sonny Eugene Johnson and Eva Collins Johnson; her husband Jimmy Bartley; her sister Mary Ellen Johnson Thacker; her son-in-law Eric Reed; and her siblings-in-law, Homer Bartley, Gomer Bartley and Hazel Bartley.
She is survived by : her daughters, Lisa Jeanne Bartley Reed of Danville and Kathy Bartley Picarazzi; her son-in-law David Anthony Picarazzi of Nicholasville; her grandchildren, James Anthony Picarazzi and Eva Rose Picarazzi; her brother Amos Bartley, Jr. (Polly); her sister-in-law Ruby Wright Bartley; and her nieces and nephews, David Thacker, Veronica Thacker Adkins (Junior), Pauline Thacker Byers (Blaine), Mark Burks (Starlah), Misty Bartley Lewis (Scott) and Angie Bartley Mosley. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
