He was predeceased by: his father Bailey Blane Compton; and his stepfather James Leon Akin. He is survived by: his mother Virginia "Sue" Grant Akin; his close friend Stephanie Hale of Nortonville; his stepchildren, Cortney Compton of Fairview, KY, Cody Hendricks of Madisonville and Colten Kaelbli of Nortonville; his siblings, Kimberly Fountain of Oklahoma, Sam Akin (Lauren) of Princeton, Earl Compton of Cadiz, Randy Compton of Cadiz, Brandon Compton of Gracey, KY and Dustin Compton of Gracey, KY; and his stepgranddaughter Cheyanne Russelburg.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
