We announce the death of Sharon Sullivan of Oakland, Kentucky, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 79. Sharon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Ella Uzzle Bennett and Edward "Eddie" L. Bennett, Jr.; her husband Eddie F. Sullivan; and her siblings, Thomas Bennett, Ned Bennett, Cecil Bennett, Robert Bennett and Linnie Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Fulkerson (Kim Pitts) of Oakland, KY and Tim Cummins (Tammy) of Madisonville, KY; her sister Freda Stewart of Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Jordan Fulkerson, Katelyn Pitts, Makayla Cummins, Abby Cummins and Josh Muhlethaler (Malessa). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
