He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Woolen and Junie May Payton Woolen; and his siblings, Jesse, Denver, Billy, Donald Woolen and Ella May Duncan.
He is survived by : his wife Shirley Geary Woolen; his children, Pam Preston (James) and Rick Woolen; his grandchildren, Tracy Stewart (Daniel), Samantha Forbes (Jimmy), Cheyanne Woolen and Adam Woolen (Abby); and his sister Genevieve McCormick.
