He is survived by : his wife Gail Tooley Embry; his children, Lauren Jackson (Shane), Dawson Embry and Graham Embry; his parents, Rev. Larry Embry and Elda Beatty Embry; and his sisters, Rosie Alstadt, Brandi Overby and Stacy Overby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to school funds for Graham Embry or Eleanor Jackson.
