She was predeceased by: her parents, Haskel Griffey and Sadie Ramey Griffey; her husband Wayne Bailey; and her siblings, Lou Arlen Griffey, William Griffey, Eddie Griffey, Charles Griffey, Beatrice Ingles, Eulane Harris, Nina Mae Wilson, Shelby Jean Griffey, Christine James and Louise Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Myron Bailey of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Wanda Porter (John) of Ashland, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Alex Porter and Emily Porter Benson (Tyler); her great grandchild Grayson Cole Benson; and her sisters, Jewell Hicks of Olive Hill and Evaline Whitman of Olive Hill.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Globe Funeral Chapel (17277 W US. Hwy 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
