He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Humphries and Rebecca Marie Baker Humphries; his daughter Mary Humphries; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Hedge, Alice Fay Middleton, Glen Hedge, Vernon Middleton and Paul Middleton.
He is survived by : his girlfriend Kay McGlone Carpentar; his girlfriend's children, Paul, Loretta Carpentar, Paulette, Roberto Marshall and Willie Carpentar; his sister Dortha Preston; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie McGlone Middleton and Ruffus Middleton; and his close friends, Howard Puckett and Birdie Stamper. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
