He is survived by: his children, Vernon Maddix (Becky) of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Debbie Maddix of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Cathy Dyer (Billy Hall) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Amanda Pennignton and Matthew Maddix; his great grandchildren, Chloe Pennington and Connor Pennington; his sisters, Pauline Lowe of Olive Hill and Elaine Fisher of Grayson, Kentucky; and his daughter-in-law Sharon Maddix (Kentucky) of Vine Grove.
