He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blevins and Kathleen Wilson Blevins; his sons, John Christopher Blevins and Jayson Scott Blevins; his siblings, Darrell Blevins, Rondell Blevins, Sandra Jarvis, Brenda Hargett and Anita Porter; and his close friend David "Crockett" Blankenship.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Blevins of Olive Hill, Robert Blevins of Dayton, Aaron Blevins of Loveland, Ohio, Melissa Brewer of Cincinnati, Cisha Rose of Louisa and Christina Brown of Greenup, Kentucky; and his siblings, Charles Blevins of Grayson, Kentucky, Rita Blevins of Olive Hill and Mary Howard of West Liberty. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
