She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Nathaniel Hedge and Ruby Florence Scott Hedge; her husband Arvel Holbrook; her children, Alma Louise Tackett, Charleen Maddix and Danny Holbrook; her children-in-law, Glenna Holbrook and Dallas Gilliam; and her brother Bobby Joe Hedge.
She is survived by : her daughters, Bonnie Sue Gilliam of Olive Hill and Sherri Jeneese Frerichs (Terry) of Stanton, KY; her son-in-law Sammy Maddix of Olive Hill; her siblings, Barbara Sue Sammons of Olive Hill and Clayton Clay Hedge of Irvine, KY; and her grandchildren, Bobby Tackett, Wendy Fletcher (Richard), Tammy Ward (Toby), Michelle Underwood (John), Sammy Lee Maddix, Lori Wright (John), Danny Joe Holbrook (Angie), Kyle Frerichs (Alyssa), Nathan Frerichs (Megan), Corey Frerichs (Krista Jones), Casey Frerichs (Brittany) and Jeremy Frerichs. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service (149 Whitt St, Olive Hill, KY 41164). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Holbrook-Clay Cemetery (Post Ln, Kentucky 41164).
