She was predeceased by: her parents, Shafter King and Vivian Adams King; her son James "Jim Bob" Brown Jr.; and her siblings, Robert King, Shafter "June" King Jr., Stella and Sue King.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Wheeland of Columbus, Tammy Manley of Olympia, Sandra Saunders of Olympia and Genie Hardin of Midland, Kentucky.; her close friend Vernon Alsept; her stepdaughters, Tina Johnson (Jody) of Flemingsburg and Miranda AlSept of Montgomery County; her siblings, Shannon Lafferty of Middletown, Teresa King of Owingsville and James King of Olympia; her nieces, Pam Hunt of Olympia and Donna Pergrem of Olympia; and her daughter Norma Jo Brown. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and an impressive 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home (89 Slate Ave, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Mann Cemetery (4531-4573 KY-36, Owingsville, KY 40360).
