It is with sadness that the passing of Pearl Gibson of Oneida, Kentucky is shared. Pearl, born on July 12, 1940, passed away on October 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Pearl will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Pearl by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Pearl is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Pearl’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beve McQueen and Mary Sizemore McQueen; her husband Ralph "Smiley" Gibson; and her children, Hoot Gibson and Joyce Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Gibson (Amber) of Oneida, Kentucky., Cecil Gibson of Oneida, Kentucky., Kelly Gibson (Lora) of Oneida, Kentucky. and Loretta Hensley (Scott) of Oneida, Kentucky.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
