He is survived by: his children, Melinda Gail Gates (Joe) of Livingston, Adam Ray Higgins of Orlando and James Earl Higgins (Crystal) of Berea; his grandchildren, Aaron Brown (Cheyenne), Ausin (Hannah Ferguson), Autumn Johnson (Trevor), Lloyd Higgins (Chelsey Barnett), Dorothy Higgins, Dakota Higgins and Lillyann Higgins; his great grandchildren, Willis, Tristan, Tilly, Tate, Penelope, Genevive, Kinsley and Ella; and his sister Tina Higgins of Mt Vernon.
