She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lee and Velma Chestnut Stewart; her husband Merville Brown; and her sisters, Reva Roberts and Imogene Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Melony Wynn (Brian) of Orlando, Merrill Brown of Mt Vernon, Amy Philbeck (Eric) of Mt Vernon and Merita Medley (Jamie) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Jason, Jonathon Raider, Aaron Brown (Cheyanne), Austin Brown, Christopher Philbeck, Hunter Medley (Hannah) and Hayden Medley; her great grandchildren, Lincoln Kade Raider, Willis Keith Brown, Tristan Wade Brown and Tilly Irene Brown; and her siblings, Linda Lamb of Richmond, Lisa Robbins (Gary) of Sand Springs, Millie Robbins (Jerry) of Sand Springs, Betty Hensley (Jack) of Orlando, Elsie Smith (Lafey) of Sand Springs and Henry Edward Stewart.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Flat Rock Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
