It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andrew Ward (Owensboro, Kentucky), born in West Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patti Ward and Homer Ward; and his brother Carroll Ward. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sydney, Andy, Lila, Ollie Adams, Libby Ward, Ellie Walker and Greyson Walker; and his siblings, Rick Ward (Gail) and Minda Ward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and at 6:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Mother Catholic Church (515 E 22nd St, Owensboro, KY 42303).
Donations are requested for Brescia University, Indiana College of Optometry, St. Alphonsus and Blessed Mother Catholic Church, and the National Kidney Foundation.
