She was predeceased by: her parents, George Emerick and Mary Guess Emerick; her husband Gerald Couden; her daughter Cheryl Stevens; and her siblings, Eddie, Harold, Roger, Wesley Emerick and Mary K. Frauenknecht.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Couden (Nancy) of Corydon, Indiana; her grandchildren, Leslie Dileo (Dan) of St. Augustine, FL, Stephen Couden (Brandy) of Louisville and Joel Stevens (Madeline) of Bowling Green; her sister Louella Johnson of Lebanon, OH; and her son-in-law Tom Stevens of Bowling Green. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens (5050 KY-144, Owensboro, KY 42303).
