Betty Jo Turner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jo Turner of Owensboro, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. and Mary E. Schaddic (Moore); and her husband Robert Allen Turner. She is survived by: her children, John Michael Turner (Laurie) and Mary M. McDole (Robert); and her grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle), Zachary (Dedra), Jaclyn (Brad), Laura, Colleen and Jacob. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213).
