With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Gene Leonard of Owensboro, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Leonard and Lula Jane Williams. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Leonard (Lisa) of Utica, Danielle Ellis (Chris) of Stanley and Heidi McCain (Sam) of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Garrett Leonard, Zack Haynes, Hunter McCarty, Skylar Leonard, Mollie Smith, Harlie Roark, Dalton McCarty, Colbe Ellis, Walker Ellis and Josie Ellis; his great grandchildren, Kodi Roark, Conley Leonard, Grayson, Graham Smith, Carslynn, Luna and Nellie Haynes; and his siblings, Marlene Aull (Ray), Darlene Hoagland (Dan) and James David Leonard (Elvera). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
