With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Edward Woosnam of Owensboro, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Frederick Woosnam and Virginia Frances Stiff Woosnam. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bowman Woosnam; his children, Kris Edelen (John), Cindy Lee (Roger), Carey Ricke (John) and Neil Woosnam (Mandy); his grandchildren, Matthew Woosnam (Amanda), Jacob Kasinger (Londyn), Travis Bailey (Hanna), Blake Lee, Madelon Woosnam, Luke Ricke, Molly Ricke, Madison Lee Caldwell (Jace) and Lilly Ribay; his siblings, Kenneth Woosnam (Yvonne), Debbie Mullendore and Nana Mitchell; and his pet Miss America. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
