He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Audrey Bell Small and Arthur "Ike" Small, Sr.; and his siblings, Arthur Small, Jr., Virginia Millay, Danny Small, Sr., Ronny Small and Donny Small.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerri" Humphrey Small; his children, Debbie Garber (Gary), Charley Small (Kathy), Leslie Small, Shad Combs (Michelle) and Travis Small (Charity); and his siblings, Fran Brookshire, Rose Marie Small-Cobb and Bill Small. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
