She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Gene and Helen Louise Mills; her children, Ronnie Dale Canary and Mandy Louise Canary; and her brother Ronald Lewis.

She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Dale Smith; her children, Angel Mills, Bryant Keith Clary, Christopher Gene Mills, Ben Allen Canary and David Earl Canary; and her siblings, Diana Gaddis, Flora Lewis and Garrison Gene Mills. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephew.
