With sadness, we share the passing of Cody Allen Newton of Owensboro, Kentucky. Cody, born on September 7, 1988, passed away on September 5, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cody Allen Newton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his brother Colin Lee Newton; and his grandfathers, Sylvester Newton Sr. and Robert P. Carrico Sr. Cody. He is survived by: his parents, Brian Newton (Beth) and Jennifer Kirby (Greg); his son Riley Newton; his sister Kali Underhill (Steven); his stepsisters, Kaylee Cox, Megan Cox and Courtney Boling (Jordon); his grandmothers, Donna Ivey Hamilton and Ruby N. Newton; and his nieces and nephews, Beckham, Sutton, Aedyn, Jayce, Zhiyah, Rhys, Hunter, Parker and Conner. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the OASIS Women's Shelter or Owensboro Regional Suicide Prevention.
