He was predeceased by: his father Daniel; his wife Dolores Wathen Fickas; his brother Gerald Fickas; and his sister-in-law Doris Fickas. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Stephen Fickas (Tina) and John Anthony Fickas (Nichole); his grandchildren, Jonathon Stinnett, Reagan Armstrong, Daniel Douglas Fickas and Austin Pullin; his great grandchild Shylee Stinnett; and his siblings, Brenda Blume (Maurice), Sara Little (Gary), Jeanne Neukam (Vincent) and Thomas Fickas Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A prayer will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
