He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Jewell and Louella Hester Jewell; his granddaughter Misty Clary; and his brother Chester "Bill" Jewell. He is survived by: his wife Mable Jewell; his children, Cynthia Millay (Steve) of Stanley, Michael Jewell (Sheri) of Jenks, Ruth Chase (Allen) of Reed and Sharon Coleman (Derrick) of Owensboro; and his brother Elmo Jewell (Mildred) of Henderson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
