He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Beecher and Helen Lea Hulsey Ward; his daughter Greta Ward Sullivan; and his brothers, Plunk Ward and Dean Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ward; his son Matthew Ward (Stephanie Logsdon) of Owensboro; his stepdaughters, Andrea Searcy (Josh) of Calhoun and Bridget Reid (Jacob) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Whit Searcy, Leah Searcy, Peyton Reid, Charlie Reid, Ryleigh Reid and Hayden Reid; and his siblings, Jeep Ward of Beech Grove, Ralph Ward (Judy) of Beech Grove, Mitchell Ward (Sandra) of Owensboro, Joyce Bennett (Melvin) of Newport News, Mary Jones of Calhoun, Bess Sandefur (C. W.) of Henderson, Judy McIntosh of Owensboro and Glenda Schmautz (Terry) of Powderly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel (300 Main St, Calhoun, KY 42327). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
