He is survived by: his children, Dr. Patrick K. Hayden (Megan) of Russellville, KY, Joseph T. Hayden, Sr. (Joan), Monica Hayden of Newnan, GA, Paul A. Hayden (Connie) of St Louis, MO, Martin W. Hayden (Tracy) of Edgewood, KY, Teresa A. Hayden and David M. Hayden (Mimi); and his siblings, Lawrence Allen Hayden (Sonny) of Louisville, KY, Mary Rita Wilson of Evansville, IN, Dennis Hayden (Sharon) of Frankfurt, IN, Theresa C Hayden of Louisville, KY and Sharon Payne (Darrell). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Parish (2516 Christie Pl, Owensboro, KY 42301). A prayer will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301).
