We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Donita Gayle Lucas of Owensboro, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Lucas and Agnes Louise Priest Lucas; and her brother Mugsy Lucas. She is survived by: her children, Eric Perkins (Jenn) of Taylorsville, KY and Katie Perkins (Stephen Perry) of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Liam, Aurora, Emmett and Marshall; her siblings, Angela Compton, Marquetta Davis, Peanuts Lucas (Debbie) and Bobby Lucas (Tammy); and her pet Wickett. She is also survived by Mom and Mamaw who loved her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home (509 Spring St, Irvington, KY 40146). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the Custer Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the funeral home (P.O. Box 125, Irvington, KY 40146) to assist with the funeral bill.
