He is survived by: his children, Pam Ali of Owensboro, KY and Dirk Smith of Jacksonville, FL.; his sisters, Merdis Jones of Owensboro, KY, Gracie McCutchen of Andrews, SC, Emma Drayton of Georgetown, SC and Willie-Faye Gates of Charleston, SC; and his grandchildren, Alisha Smith of Owensboro, KY, Tyler Smith (Stephenie Smith) of Anchorage, AK, Antoinette Smith of Memphis, TN and Creasie Kelly of Jacksonville, FL.
