The memory of Gary Dorris of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Raymond and Carrie Mae Dorris; his brothers, Larry Raymond Dorris and James Franklin Dorris; and his daughter Stephanie Gayle Dorris.

He is survived by: his children, Timothy B. Dorris (Susie) of Sweeden, KY and Cleta Dorris Brancato (Frank) of Owensboro; and his grandchildren, Quinn Dorris, Sarah Miller, Ross DeWitt, Nathan Prow and Bethaney Wooldridge. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
