Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gary leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bennie Boone and Carolyn Baird Boone; his siblings, Carla Collins, Vickie Ward and Dick Darrough; his children, Gary R. Boone Jr. of Owensboro, Heather Jewell and Melissa Horton of Owensboro; and his siblings, Susan King (Alan) of Rockport, Shannon Schueler (John) of Owensboro and James Allen "J. B." Boone of Owensboro. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
