Helen Maxine Summers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Maxine Summers of Owensboro, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Chamness and Elva Haley Chamness; her husband John Summers; and her children, Cheryl J. Eagan, Steven Summers and John Summers.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Summers (Michelle) of Texas; her daughter-in-law Susan Summers; and her grandchildren, John Summers (Nancy), Michael Eagan, Jason Summers, Shelly Stallings (Mark) and Angie Kurz (Dave). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
