He was predeceased by: his parents, Madoline Lampkin Wermling Frost and Glenn Jack Frost; and his brother Jimmy Wermling. He is survived by: his wife Alice McCarthy Wermling; his children, Herbie Wermling Jr. (Kimberly), Kaye Dennison and Anna Way (Greg); his grandchildren, Brittany, Randi, Jordan, Jacklyn, Joshua and Kaitlyn; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Asher, Keelie, Kaliah, Macie Grace and Madalyn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
