He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Beals and Mary Kavanaugh Beals; and his wife Claudia Mae Beals. He is survived by: his children, Alice Meredith, Diane Shelton, Mike Beals, Angie Bruce, Sherry "Dobby" Padilla and Joan Haire. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
