With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeanette Lively Hester of Owensboro, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lee and Madeline "Smith" Lively; her husband Gilbert Hester; her siblings, James Lively, Bea Stone, Anona Daugherty, David Lively, Margie Crabtree and Danny Lively; and her son-in-law Mike Young.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Young, Pam Freels (Philip) and Scott Hester (Becky); her grandchildren, Kristie DeLoach (Darrell) of Radcliff, KY, Tiffany Young of St. Petersburg, FL, Brittany Newman (Travis), David Hester and James Hester; her great grandchildren, Skylar Newman, Ella Newman, Bodie Newman, Madeline DeLoach and Evelyn Hester; and her sister Billie J. "B. J." Cappelli of Acworth, GA..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
