He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Jackson and Anabelle Jackson (Howard); his siblings, Victor Ray Jackson, James Carl Jackson and Erma Jackson Fleming; and his nephew Dennis Ray Jackson.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Gwen Williams (Clark), Sally Denton (David), Mary Fleming Tollefsen (Andre), Charles Fleming, William Fleming, David Jackson and Charlie Jackson (Susanne); and his cousin Pat Shipley. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rosehill Elmwood Cemetery Chapel (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
