He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Knowles and Zelma Knowles (Fox); and his brothers, James and Donald Knowles. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Knowles (Harlen); his children, Robert Knowles (Betty Jo), Brian Knowles (Shannon) and Amy Menze; his grandchildren, Raymond Knowles, Seth Knowles, Cade Knowles (Sarah), Jennifer Cox (Josh), Elizabeth Knowles and Salem Menze; and his brother Raymond Knowles (Jane). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A masonic service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
