He was predeceased by: his father Ben M. Johnson, Jr.; and his pet Boone. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Johnson; his mother Ruth Johnson; his sons, James Lambert Philpot (Alicia) of Evansville, Jason Moore (Johnson) of Evansville and Jeremy Johnson (Marisa) of Evansville; his grandchildren, Kyle Lambert, Baili Alexander (Matt) of Philpot, Chase and Maya Johnson of Evansville; his great grandchildren, Tanner Lambert of Falls and Myles Alexander of Philpot; and his siblings, Nancy Sewell (Bill) of Owensboro and Ben M. Johnson III of Paducah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
